Regarding the stains, we would love to share a few important tips to help you get the very best results from your wash:
1. Pretreating stains makes all the difference:
For any visible stains, it’s always best to treat them before washing. Ideally, stains should be treated as soon as possible, the fresher the stain, the easier it is to remove before it sets deeply into the fibers.
2. How to do it easily:
Simply rinse the stained area with cold water (never warm or hot, as heat can “lock in” the stain). Then add a few drops of Komplete Wash directly on the stain, the number of drops depends on the size of the area. Gently rub the fabric for a few minutes, let it sit for about 10–15 minutes, and then wash as usual.
3. Washing time matters:
For stained clothes, we recommend choosing a washing cycle that lasts at least 1 hour. Short or quick cycles are great for lightly soiled items but might not be enough for stain removal since the full washing process takes time to lift dirt and residue completely.
4. Temperature is key for hygiene and brightness:
Items like beddings, towels, underwear, and undershirts (especially 100% cotton) should be washed at 60°C or above. This temperature not only helps remove deeper stains but also kills bacteria and keeps fabrics hygienically clean.
5. Why pretreatment is so important:
Pretreating helps loosen the stain’s grip on the fabric fibers, so it can be lifted more easily during the wash. Old stains that have already been washed and dried before can be very difficult to remove, because they have already penetrated the fibers.
6. If a slight stain remains after washing:
Don’t dry the item yet, heat from the dryer or sunlight can set the stain permanently. Instead, pretreat it again and rewash.
It’s also important to note that not all stains can be removed inside the washing machine alone, for example, metal marks, rust, ink, paint stains, etc. often require special stain removers or chemical treatments before washing. These types of stains should always be pre-treated outside the washing machine for best results.
